The WHS Art Department has some exciting news to share. At this year’s Box Factory High School Show which featured 15 different organizations and schools, Watervliet was once again recognized for its talented students. Breyonnah Edwards received the 2nd Place award in the two-dimensional category for her black lives matter inspired portrait. 

Bianca Freeman won the 2nd Place award in the three-dimensional category for her ceramic creature, titled Broken Spirit.  She also won a Berrien RESA $50 art scholarship for the same sculpture. Congratulations also go out to the 32 other art students that also had their art included in this online show.
