Middle School and High School Bands Receive Division 1 Ratings

Both the Watervliet Middle School 7th & 8th Grade Band and the High School Band received a Division 1 Rating at the MSBOA District 6 Band & Orchestra Festival.  

The festival took place at Lake Michigan College last week.  Each band plays for a panel of three judges and is scored in the areas of tone, intonation, technique, rhythm, and interpretation.   This year, both bands received straight ones from all the judges! 

Congratulations to Teacher/Director Jennifer Hollandsworth and the Watervliet MS and HS Bands on your terrific showing!
