Bond Construction Update #2

Construction continues to move forward across several of our voter-approved bond projects, and we're excited to share another update.

As we get closer to the start of the school year, more of the work is becoming visible. While crews continue installing and testing the new HVAC system inside the middle/high school, we're also beginning to see progress on other bond projects, including elementary security upgradesand preparation for the new middle school cafeteria and WAY addition.

Progress This Week

Several important milestones were reached over the past week:

• Installation of the new classroom heating and cooling units continues throughout the middle/high school.

• Rooftop air-conditioning condensers have been installed, connected, and pressure

  tested. Crews are now completing the electrical connections and control systems that

  will allow the units to operate.

• New electrical service has been installed to provide the additional power needed for

  classroom air conditioning.

• At the elementary school, the new secure entry improvements are nearly complete. Card

  readers and magnetic locking hardware will be programmed, with final paint and finish

  work wrapping up soon.

• Site preparation has begun for the new middle school cafeteria addition, including

  fencing, surveying, and utility marking. These early steps prepare the area for

  construction to begin.

What's Happening Next

Over the coming weeks, construction crews will focus on:

• Beginning startup and testing of the new HVAC equipment to ensure every classroom

  system is operating properly before students return.

• Completing the remaining electrical controls and wiring for the new heating and cooling

  system.

• Launching construction on the new cafeteria and WAY building addition behind the

  middle school gym.

Looking Ahead

The next several weeks will be exciting as multiple bond projects continue moving forward.

Upcoming milestones include:

• August 2026: Construction begins on the new middle school cafeteria and WAY building

  addition.

• Before the start of school: HVAC system startups, testing, and final inspections continue

  to ensure classrooms are ready for students.

• Spring 2027: Renovations to the high school girls' locker room are scheduled to begin.
