On Thursday, March 14, 2024, the members of the Concert Choir attended the 84th annual Southwestern Michigan Vocal Festival at Western Michigan University. The guest choral conductor was WMU alumnus and Russian native, Elena Sharkova. Students participated in rehearsals and sectionals during the day, with breaks for lunch and then dinner at Crossroads Mall. A free evening concert was presented in Miller Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. with performances by the 503-member SWMVF Festival Chorus, the SWMVF Honors Choir, WMU's University Chorale and Anime. It was an amazing festival and a wonderful musical experience for all!
