Watervliet Public Schools is seeking an outstanding Mechanic/Utility/Groundskeeper. Required qualifications include the following:
High School Graduate.
State of Michigan Certified Mechanic License
Certification of good health, signed by a physician.
Ability to read and comprehend warning labels and basic equipment operating instructions and ability to write reports as needed.
Ability to move 150 pounds with assistance provided if requested.
Ability to perform minor electrical plumbing and mechanical repairs associated with the job.
Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment, lawn mowing, snow removal and other common equipment associated with the job.
Demonstrate the ability to work successfully without direct supervision.
Possess no physical or mental restrictions that would, without reasonable accommodation, prevent the performance of the essential job functions and responsibilities.
