All Watervliet High School Students had an opportunity to hear representatives who work in many different career fields talk about what it's like day-to-day working in each field.   Business representatives also fielded questions from students including queries about job prospects in their particular industry, education needed to enter the field,  and earnings potential.

Students who had their interest piqued may now want to explore a career further or even take courses that will help to prepare them for work on the job.  For example, well-driller Ed Richcreek told students that knowledge of geology can be important in that field.  

The event was coordinated by WHS mathematics instructor Dr. Donya Mosher.   Many thanks to the business, military, and industry representatives who took the time out of their day to present to our students, including:
