Watervliet Public Schools is seeking an outstanding special education paraprofessional to work in a Mild Cognitively Impaired Classroom at North Elementary School.
The special education teacher for students with mild cognitive impairments will plan, organize, and provide targeted, specialized instruction designed to meet the needs of students serviced in the self-contained special education classroom setting. The teacher in this role will successfully manage a caseload of students and have primary duties or assist in all areas related to instruction, daily planning, and communication with parents/guardians, along with scheduling and implementation of the student’s Individualized Education Plan.
