Congratulations to all of the 7th grade math classes that learned at least 10 digits of Pi!!! This is the 5th year that we have held this contest with the Watervliet Middle School Record at 225 from Mimi Feneley last year. That record is still standing strong. However- this year Tori Hayes wins the overall contest with memorizing 83 numbers! This is amazing!!! Also, congratulations to the following students for having the most digits memorized in their own math class: Ayden Domingo, Aaron Hayes, Jose Cruz and Santiago Nava.

WINNERS
Yesterday we celebrated PI day and Albert Einstein’s birthday. The students learned facts about Albert Einstein and one that especially stood out was when Einstein was stressed and needed a break- he would take a deck of cards and build a tower with them. So in math class, we took a break to see how tall we could build a tower with a deck of cards.
