Good Morning Watervliet Panthers! Today is Wednesday, May 15th. My name is Ella Harris and I am your Wednesday morning announcement reader. Today’s lunch is chicken nuggets & wg cornbread, spring peas, and fresh grapes. Tomorrow’s breakfast is a cereal breakfast kit, string cheese & peach cup Happy Birthday to Claire Moore! All students have been sent a link to vote for the 4 students that will represent your class in the Student Advisory to the Principal for next year. Check your email and Vote by TODAY. Representatives for each class will be announced at the end of the week. The senior awards night is TONIGHT at 6 pm in the auditorium. All seniors are asked to attend. Juniors who are eligible to help lead our freshmen orientation day next year have been emailed. Please check your email. Semester 2 exams will take place for 9-11 graders on June 3, 4, 5, and 6. The deadline for the 3 and a B and the 5 and an A attendance incentive is June 3rd. If you need to know the status of your current attendance, email Ms. Powers. Senior exams are May 20-23. Seniors must be passing all classes needed for graduation by May 24th at 3:10 in order to participate in graduation. The deadline for the attendance incentive is that same week for seniors. All students have been emailed a form for student council for the next school year. If you are interested in being considered, complete the form by tomorrow. Members will be notified on Friday, May 17. Seniors, if you do not have an English class here, please stop in the main office to complete your graduation half sheet. SENIORS: If you are attending the Senior Trip then we will have a very short meeting before the Awards Night in the high school cafeteria @ 5:30. TOMORROW is an early release day. We continue to celebrate national Teacher Appreciation Week. FUN FACT ABOUT TEACHING: DID YOU KNOW? Teachers want a supporting school administration and principal who provide suggestions for making changes and value their contributions to school. Teachers are creative and unique. Though they share their ideas, they do things differently, outing their own spin on them. Teachers are always looking for ways to improve themselves.
