Today’s lunch is Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Watermelon, Cheesy Broccoli, Baby Carrots
Boys Cross Country Grabs 5th place at Teske Invitational - Daniel Mandujano Finishes 1st. In a tightly contested meet in which only 8 points separated first place from fifth, the Panther runners finished 5th out of 13 teams at the Teske Invitational at the Van Buren Fairgrounds. Danny Mandujano cruised to an impressive first-place finish with the nearest competitor 56 seconds behind him. Luke Isbrecht finished in 7th place with a 19:10. Zeke Cordozo rounded out the Panthers' top three with a time of 20:20 for an 18th-place finish.
Girls Cross Country Captures 2nd Place at Teske Invitational. A great group effort allowed the Lady Panthers to finish second out of 13 teams at the Teske Invitational at the Van Buren Fairgrounds placing 8 girls in the top 30. Kimmy Romero led the way with a 23:59 for 9th place. Payton Yeske was the next Panther across the finish line in 25:09 for 15th place. Gabby Wisdom ran a 25:31 to finish 18th. Mimi Feneley, Marissa Lowell, Miranda Lowell, Katelyn Brown, and Maria Cruz were tightly packed together capturing 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 26th, and 28th places respectively.
There will be a school store in Dr. Mosher’s room this year. It will be open before school, after 1st hour, and after school.
We have started tracking tardies in the building. If you are late to any class, you will be sent to the office for a tardy pass. The third tardy equals a detention. Automated alert phone calls are not going home daily to parents for any student who is tardy to any class.
There is a permission slip in the counseling office for an Oct 4th field trip to The Maximum Mold Group in Benton Harbor. Juniors and Seniors interested in Engineering, Tooling, Machine Technology, and welding are encouraged to attend. The bus leaves at 9:15 and you will be back by 11:45.
If you are interested in participating in Esports, please sign up in the office or contact Mrs. Overacker. Practices will start next week.
On Monday we will run student grades. If you are failing any class for any reason your parents will get a phone call on Monday night. Make sure that you have turned in all of the assignments for the first couple weeks of school so that you are passing all classes on Monday. Monday we will also run the first eligibility report.

Today is Thursday September 5th. My name is Lilly Summers and I am your Thursday morning announcement reader!
There are no birthdays today.
Today’s lunch is Walking Taco, Pasta Salad, Strawberries, Broccoli & Cauliflower Bites.
There will be a school store in Dr. Mosher’s room this year. It will be open before school, after 1st hour, and after school.
The Varsity Lady Panthers took on the Shamrocks of Berrien Springs yesterday and came out on top. Game one the Shamrocks came out strong in serving taking an early lead. While the Panthers struggled behind the service line and in serve receive. But the Panthers quickly turned things around in game two, three and four and won the match. Sue Weckwerth led the team in kills. Kelsie Gaston led in assists. Chelsea Lange and Sue Weckwerth led in aces. The team played tough defense and did a great job communicating during all the games.

Ms. Powers will be meeting with any student individually on Tuesday who has yet to complete online enrollment forms in order to receive a chromebook. All students should be in possession of their Chromebooks by Tuesday.
Today is the final day to get Mrs. Dawson a signed parent permission skip to change a schedule. If Mrs. Dawson does not have this from you today, you will not be making a schedule change for this semester.

If you do not have an English teacher and you need a chromebook, please come talk to Mrs. Richcreek in the main office. Students will receive a chrome book in your English class once you have signed the tech use agreement and have your online updated enrollment forms completed. If you would like to make a schedule change, you must pick up a schedule change form during passing time only in the counseling office, have it signed by a parent and returned by this Thursday. Follow the schedule that you have been given until the counseling office gives you a new schedule.
