SOFTBALL
The Watervliet Panthers softball team opened Pre-District play Tuesday with a thrilling 7-6 comeback win over Hartford to advance to Saturday’s district matchup against Bloomingdale. Trailing 4-0 entering the sixth and down four runs in the seventh, the Panthers rallied for five runs to secure the victory. Freshmen Rae Prestidge and Sophia Radar sparked the comeback, while Sienna Bulat and Ava Thomas each delivered key RBI hits. Ava Trapp led the offense with two hits, and Emma Kirksey earned the complete-game win in the circle with five strikeouts. Watervliet improves to 22-12 and travels to Kalamazoo Central on Wednesday. Go Panthers!!

Attention all 9-11 graders–this year you will be expected to turn your device and charger into your 6th hour teacher before you leave for the summer. No stickers can be left on your device. If you do not have a 6th hour teacher–these items are turned into Mrs. Richcreek.
ATTENTION 9-11 graders: Starting TODAY you can earn a clean locker ticket for showing any teacher or staff member that your locker is completely empty with absolutely no stickers on the inside or the outside. Turn the ticket into the main office for a treat. One ticket per student and all faculty and staff will have these tickets to distribute.
