Varsity lost 13-2 to Brandywine last Thursday after an early deficit. Watervliet had 15 hits and three HRs, led by Emma Kirksey (2 HR, 2 RBI), Leila Liberto-Taylor (HR, 2 RBI), and Alexis Eberhard (3 hits, 2 RBI). Rae Prestidge added 4 RBI. Defensive miscues proved costly.
In game 2, Watervliet fell 12–11 to Brandywine in the nightcap despite 12 hits and home runs from Emma Kirksey and Rea Prestidge. Defensive errors led to costly unearned runs. Sienna Bulat (double, 2 RBIs), Kendle Kiefer (2 singles, 2 RBIs), and Kate Kostrzewa (2 singles, RBI) paced the offense. Mackenzie Birmele took the loss as the Panthers dropped to 9–4.
