Art News:

Last week, 6 WHS art students learned that their artwork has been accepted into the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts High School Show. This prestigious juried competition receives hundreds of entries from across Southwest Michigan.

Congratulations to Sienna Harris, Jaylee Havenaar, Jane Rudell, Vivienne Sexton, Ava Sprague and Leila Wells for this impressive achievement. Their artwork will soon be delivered to the gallery for display and will be considered for the final juror awards.

Awards will be announced during the opening reception at the KIA on April 10 at 5:30 p.m.

📱 Hand the Phone to Ms. Powers

At this time, please stand.

The privilege of this day is possible because of those who have fought — and continue to fight — for the freedoms we enjoy. Please place your right hand over your heart and remove any hats or caps.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands: one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Those are all of our announcements for today.

Make it a great day or not, Panthers — the choice is yours. 🐾
