🥫 JMG Canned Food Drive — Happening This Week! The JMG class is hosting a school-wide canned food drive to support members of our community.
Bring canned goods or non-perishable items
JMG students will visit 1st hour classes daily to collect donations
The class that brings in the most items will win a special surprise!

👟 Shoe Drive
The middle school is sponsoring a shoe drive.
If you have extra shoes — from flip-flops to cowboy boots — bring them to the office donation box.

Sports Update
Boys' Varsity Basketball played tough for 3 1/2 quarters but ultimately fell to Coloma 63-51 in the opening round of the District Playoffs on Monday night. As he has done for his entire career at Watervliet, senior Caleb Jewell played with tremendous energy and heart and kept the Panthers in the game with a team-high 17 points, including 10 in the 4th Quarter. Freshman Brayden Harasewicz added 12 for Watervliet, who closed out the season with some of their best basketball in this last stretch of games. Huge thank you to all the Panther fans that consistently came out to support the team!
The Individual Regional Wrestling Tournaments were this weekend, with a trip to the State Finals at Ford Field on the line. Five Panthers hit the mats, and three punched their tickets to Detroit. JT Isbrecht finished 4th on Saturday in Belding, and Brooklyn Woollett and Ellie Norman both took 4th at Portage Northern on Sunday, with all three moving on to State. They will have 2 weeks to prepare before heading to Detroit on Thursday, March 5th. Congratulations Panther Wrestlers!!
